LAW ENFORCEMENT
TEEN BELT RESOURCE CD

Traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for teens. One of the most effective ways in which teen drivers, ages 15-20, can prevent injury and death in a motor vehicle crash is to wear a seat belt, but a large number of teens still fail to buckle up. That's why in an effort to save more lives, State and Local law enforcement agencies in Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Texas will step up seat belt enforcement with increased patrols and other special Click It or Ticket efforts to help ensure that everyone, including teens, always wear their seat belts when driving or riding in a motor vehicle.
